Civil War - Battle of Gettysburg - Bullet and Collector Postage Stamps - Commemorative Collection

The battle of Gettysburg was fought July 1 - 3 and around Gettysburg Pennsylvania.  The battle involved the largest number of casualties of the entire war.  It has been described as the war's turning point due to the Union decisive victory. 

This is a fired or spent bullet that the finder has stated was found in the late 1980's on private property.

All are placed with the information card inside of a hard box (dimensions 5 3/8" x 4 1/4") with a glass top that is pinned together on the sides.
