Natural Galena Crystals from Namibia

Grade: Good Grade

Galena is getting hard to find in the states because of the exposure to lead it brings about.  These galena crystals are from Namibia, have a nice chatoyancy and weight.  Abundant in the 80's but not so much today.  These are nice sized cabinet specimens. 

Caution should be taken when handling.  While Galena is not classified as a hazardous material we do recommend wearing gloves and taking care not to smash it into dust.  It is our opinion that no mineral specimen should be given to small children.  "Look but don't touch" is always our suggestion.
